FRESH AND FUNKY FASHION SHOW IN LANGA 2009

Laprez Wear was invited to a fashion show in Langa Township in Cape Town called Fresh and Funky Fashion Show.This was our first fashion show and we did not know what to expect,and we decided,WE LP,we always win - so we took our chance and we went there.The whole event was nicely organized and Laprez got a chance to share the stage with the likes of Skomline and Butan Wear.


The event was a major success, thanks to the organizers,the supporters,friends and least but not last my printer for coming through to work on a Saturday just to make sure that Laprez does make it to the fashion show.

A big thank you to the LP models that day,you guys did put us on the map and for that,we truly grateful.And well,this is where the LP story started for a lot of people and ever since then,we have been on it.

NGIPHUMA EMLAZI

Laprez Clothing and Promotions started designing the NUZ T-shirts in 2008,and in year 2009,the first Hip, Hot and Happening NUZ design was out.It got a lot of people talking,hating and appreciating and well that was the start. We started off with about ten T-shirts and they were out in a week.We then went on and released 20 T-shirts and they were also out in a week and some of them managed to find their way out of Cape Town to Durban where they belong.

Laprez Wear,experienced some technical and financial problems due to a high demand that came for the LP gear and all the resources for the NGIPHUMA EMLAZI tees were used for the LP gear and this design was put on hold.

A couple of months later,the new design came about, called NGIPUMA EMLAZI,and it was on the street in a matter of weeks,we talking Cape Town,Durban and some parts of Jozi. While busy pushing this design,we have been getting demands from the masses that we should bring back the first design. Here at Laprez Wear,we will like to asure our people that the original design will be coming again soon.And not only that,we also going to be making NUZ pullovers, jackets and Hoodies. NGIPUMA EMLAZI

Laprez Wear has been known for being outstanding when it comes to T-shirts designs.I have in a year ago,accepted a mandate to design cool T-shirts for one of the Townships in Durban called UMLAZI.We have come up with designs that people have not thought about, and designs that are very unique due to the creative work we put into our designs.

We currently make the T-shirts and sell some of them in Cape Town local shops and them sell some to individuals in different areas via post while some are shipped straight to Durban where the LP team is in charge of sales and distribution of this merchandise.We have come up with about 10 designs so far and only two designs are out and we are looking at rolling out the other designs in a few years to come.
